• Question: Do you think that time travel would be possible in the next 100 years, if we develop the technology and find the key reaction that would enable it to take place? P.S what is your favourite science?

      Hi keza97,

I don’t know for sure, but if time travel is even possible at all, I don’t think we’ll develop it for a long time, a lot more that 100 years. I’m not sure we’ll ever invent time travel, because if we could, why aren’t there people coming back from the future to help us with our problems?

Also, one of the major paradoxes is that if time travel was possible, what if you went back in time and killed your own mother when she was still a child (accidentally of course). You could no longer exist, because your mother is no longer alive to meet your father and give birth. But if you now no longer exist, there’s no one around to go back in time to (accidentally) kill your mother. So you do exist. But then you can’t exist. It’s a complete paradox, so i don’t think time travel is possible.

      hey keza97,

A really interesting question. I must confess I don’t think that we will ever discover time travel, but if we did you’d have to have really strict rules for anyone time travelling. It would be so easy to change things and make a mess of your reality!

I say that though, but my favourite TV show is Doctor Who, which is all about time travel!

My favourite science is Geology, I just love the way the earth has changed due to the processes that make up geology such as plate tectonics and volcanoes!

      Hey keza97,

Im not sure if time travel is really possible, but it would be mind blowing if we could. I don’t know if its such a good idea though as we would probably spend our who lives traveling forward and back in time to stop ourselves doing something. But the bad things make us who we are so i don’t know if we should be able to remove them from our life.

P.s. my favorite science is earth science which covers everything that happens to the earth so quite a lot!

Haha! James verdon I think you have just explained that classic film called…….Back to the future! (cool film ,made in 1985, probably before you guys were born so if any of you haven’t heard of it before heres the trailer! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yosuvf7Unmg p.s. Check out the 1980 clothes and hair styles, I bet it makes you glad you were born in the 1990s! haha!!)

But to answer your question Im not sure we could do time travel and if it was im not sure i would want to go back to the past or into the future.

p.s. My favourite science is anything that involves chemistry 🙂
