      hi jigsawpuzzle100,

sometimes it feels like we’re all there is, but we know that our planet is just a tiny one in a massive solar system … and that our solar system is just one member of a vast milky way galaxy with up to 400 billion stars … but how many galaxies are there in the entire universe?

we don’t know for certain as we can only see a fraction of the universe, even with our most powerful instruments and telescopes … the current estimates are that there are between 100 and 200 billion galaxies in the universe … each of which has hundreds of billions of stars.
