• Question: if you could fly to the moon, would you?

      Hello mrspolly

      If NASA phoned me up and offered me a place on a rocket to the moon (or even just to the International Space Station) I would be on that quicker than you can say Geronimo!!!!

      I have always wanted to go into space, ever since I was a kid, even the film Apollo 13 couldn’t put me off! I can’t think of anything more increbible than floating around, weightless and being able to look down on the Earth from space!

      I’d love to go to space!!! When I was younger it was one of the things I imagined doing, but you have to be really smart to be an astronaut, as well as being in perfect health. A friend of mine knew a guy who was accepted onto the ESA space program, and he said he was basically brilliant at everything.

      Yes! I would love to see what the earth looked like from the moon with my own eyes!!!!! I imagine it would be pretty awesome to see the earth get smaller and smaller as you went up through the atmosphere and out into space.
      Im not sure how i would feel about a ride on a space rocket though………..Im not a big fan of rides that make your stomach feel like it has flipped upside down! haha!!

      Hey Mrspolly,

      I think that if you are offered that opportunity there is NO WAY you would ever turn it down! That would be the biggest regret of your life i think! Although, I do get extremely seasick so I don’t think i would pass the astronaut training!
