      Hi sazzle,
There are some really good universities in the USA that I’d like to work at. Caltech or Stanford in California both have really good earth science departments, and would be lovely places to live. A lot of volcanoes, such as Hawaii, or Montserrat in the Caribbean, have volcano observatories, which would be cool places to work for a little while, but I don’t think I’d like to live there permanently.

      Hi sazzle,

I’d like to work with the people who designed the main American climate model, these guys are based at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) which is in Boulder, Colorado. It would be really great to learn how another persons climate model works as they are all different. Also Boulder is in the mountains so there is lots of great skiiing, hiking, climbing and white water rafting to be done there, so it would be fun as well!

Either the Arctic or Antarctic hands down! What better way to learn more than to actually go there and see it in real life
