• Question: is it true that if you inject some liquid from the heart of a zebra fish into a human heart it will help repair the tissues in our heart if we have damaged it?

      I have no idea about this one. I’ve never heard of this before. It wouldn’t surprise me though, many of our treatments for things are developed from nature. That’s one of the reasons that it’s important to look after our planets. There could be a species out there that could help to cure cancer, but we might make it extinct before we find out about it.

      Hi bhavinamistry,

      I have no idea either. I do know that adrenaline is sometimes inject directly into the heart to try and get it working again when someone has suffered certain types of cardiac arrest (there are 2, one where the heart doesn’t beat and one where the heart beats uncontrollably), the first type I think they use adrenaline on sometimes.

      But as James V says, nature is so wonderful and varied it wouldn’t surprise me if there aren’t cures for almost anything out there in nature!
