  I suspect that we dream about people we miss, but if we are in the situation where we are missing someone it’s likely they are missing us, so it is just a coincidence! But I don’t know for sure, that’s just my hunch!

  I dont think you have a connection with that person so that when they miss you you then dream about them. Its probably more to do with that person being on your mind, particularly your subconscious. So if they are away you are aware of it and you mind is constantly thinking about them so when you dream it comes out.
