• Question: Scientist at CERN haven't found the Higgs Boson yet, do you think this theory is correct?

      Hi kwissy,
      I don’t know. That’s the point of science. You don’t know whether or not something is correct until the evidence is there to support it. It’s ok to say that you don’t know something, if there’s not enough evidence yet to know.

      Hi kwissy,

      Very similar thoughts on this as James V has, but I do think that the research at CERN is really worthwhile. Sometimes people in newspapers and other media have commented that it’s a waste of money that we could spend on better things, but I think it’s research we should be doing, because at it’s heart this is what science is, finding things out because they are there to be found out and whether the Higgs Boson is found or not, there is something about humans that we should always be pushing these boundaries and asking the question, Why?
