      Hi queenbeeexxx,

Snow is made up of crystals of frozen water that fall in the same way as rain, but onto ground that is cold enough for it not to melt back into being water.

      Hey queenbeeexxx,

Snow is made in the same process as rain but its just colder. Clouds are made up of tiny drops of water that join up and become bigger. When they are big enough they fall to the earth as rain. If it is cold enough then the tiny drops of water turn into frozen crystals which fall to earth as snow. Hail and sleet form in the same way but just under slightly different conditions.

Snow is made of water that is frozen. It forms crystals what we call snow flakes! snowflakes come in all different shapes and sizes depending on how they were cooled. The shapes are really pretty!
