Apart from Shark Infested Custard? (Sorry a very old, bad joke “What’s yellow and dangerous?”)
The most dangerous food (if not prepared properly) is Fugu, a sushi delicacy prepared by chefs trained for a decade to learn how to prepare it. Fugu is prepared from the Pufferfish and parts of it’s body (such as it’s organs) are so poisoness they kill you and there is no antidote, so if these organs are eaten or come into contact and touch the flesh of the fish you eat, you will die.
The most widely eaten food that could seriously affect the health of most humans is probably high fat high sugar foods. People don’t realize just how much damage it does to their bodies which is why we now have an obesity epidemic.
Apart from that i would probably go for chicken that isn’t properly prepared due to the food poisoning risks.
I’d have to agree with the other scientists on this one … except they’ve missed one out … because if you ask my mrs then she would tell you that my cooking is pretty much up there with the rest of the dangerous foods.
