I’ve never blown much stuff up to be honest. Once at school in chemistry I filled a sink with ethanol and dropped a match in. That made quite a bang, and lots of flames. But I wouldn’t recommend it, because I got in quite a lot of trouble for that!!!

      Hi Hannahisawesome,

The loudest chemicals that I have ever blown up are probably fireworks!

      Hi hannahisawesome,

When I was in the Scouts I used to love burning different things to see what would happen. I would strongly recommend you NEVER do what I am about to reveal, but I once put a tin of canned peaches into a fire (then ran away), it cause the lid to explode off, made quite a bang and scattered hot peaches about a 5-7m circle.

I did this when I was 13, now I am close to 27 I look back and know I was an idiot, as it could have caused someone a serious injury, so please, only ever burn/blow things up that you have been told to by a teacher or other reposible adult. This may sound boring and all grown up, but fire is dangerous and I’m now not proud that I did it.
