• Question: What's better, Star Wars or Star Trek? And who's your favourite character in each one.

      HI abichohan,

      I’m a fan of both and they are both really good in different ways, so I’m not sure which I think is better, probably Star Trek edges it, just.

      As for my favourite characters in each, I always like Mr Data in Star Trek The Next Generation, because despite the fact he wasn’t human he tried in so many ways to be more human, to discover what being a human being is and this curioisty is the sort of characteristic I see in myself, but I’m the reverse of Mr Data, I’m curious about things his character would know all about, things like science and maths! In Star Wars, I always liked R2D2, because he is so cheeky, it’s a bit like how I was when I was small!

      Hi abichohan,
      I’ve never really watched much Star Trek, so I’m going to have to say Star Wars. That said, I really only like A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back from the original ones, and Revenge of the Sith from the new ones. The Phantom Menace with JarJar Binks was truly awful!

      My favourite characters? Han Solo from Star Wars, and Spock from Star Trek!

      I havent actually ever watched either so i cannot comment! not a big fan of science fiction.

      Hi abichohan,

      I like Star Wars but am a big fan of all the Star Treks including Deep Space Nine etc. Have been a big fan since it started way back in prehistoric times :-). My favourite character of all time must be between either Spock or Data … that said i loved all the characters. I also have most of the series on DVD which my mrs has now put in a box in the attic since her last renovation of the house … and i can’t get my son to watch them either … but i will keep trying.
