      Hey aishadahir3 ,

Great question! No one really knows why but there is on main hypothesis. When we are put in stressful situations our body goes into ‘fight or flight mode’. Which just means that we prepare to either stay and fight or run away. This is caused by the release a adrenaline into our system. A similar thing happen when we get nervous. Our bodies release adrenaline whihc causes the blood flow to be redirected from our stomachs to our muscles in preparation for ‘fight or flight’. This results in a funny feeling or these ‘butterflies’.
