• Question: why your local school not every-one else

      good question … the school seismology project is aimed at high schools … however, I’m trying to persuade people to perhaps do a pilot study with 1 or 2 primary schools to see how they get on using and working with the seismometer … and if this was to be the first one to a primary school it would be easy to maintain and help out as i basically stay next door to the school … so if i could provide the school with a seismometer and they cope well with using it then perhaps i could persuade others that we could involve a few more primary schools in the project … i think science should be for all ages not just from high school age up
