  I’m not religious and yes I do fully believe in evolution. But there are many Christians (and other faiths) who believe in evolution as well. The rise of creationism and Intelligent Design is very modern, growing only within the last 30 years. I know that my dad who was religious and was a vicar in the Church of England also believed in evolution, he thought it was a wonderfully simple method of creating complex life and allowing it to thrive and thought it was Gods greatest achievment.
