      Hi hannahisawesome,

Mouthwashes work by containing chemicals which attack plaque build up in your mouth and other forms of bacteria which cause bad breath or gum disease. The benefit of a mouthwash is that the liquid gets places were the toothbrush can’t, but dentists recommend you still brush your teeth twice a day as well as using mouthwash!

      Hi hannah,
Yes, it’s very important to remember mouthwash alone is not enough, you must still brush your teeth regularly, as well as flossing occasionally, if you want to avoid problems.
