      I’m not an expert, but I think there is. But almost all of it is frozen as ice, so it’s not liquid

      Hi hannahisawesome,

      Lots of research is being done to try and find liquid water on Mars (as evidence it was there exists we think), as that might indicate it had life. I think (I seem to remember learning this), that Mars was unlucky, it’s core solidified which shut down it’s magnetic field and allowed UV radiation to hit it’s atmosphere, the UV radiation caused the bond between Hydrogen and Oxygen to break down and destroys water, which caused any atmosphere, Mars may have had to be lost.
