      Hi mrpolly,
I’m not sure, to be honest. What do you think? Would you like to have been taught more about volcanoes and earthquakes? And more about the planet in general? I’d like kids as young as possible to learn about the earth – it’s really interesting, and really fundamental for so many things in our life. As far as I’m aware, there are a few schools that do geology as a subject, but not many.

One of the problems is the cost, I think. It’d be great to take every class into the field to see things like volcanoes, but it would simply be too expensive for many schools I think.
