      Hiya miahia

I guess the first thing I want to contribute to science is to produce a better answer for a value in climate change called “Climate Sensitivity”. This value, which is a term for the amount of warming we will see on the Earth from a doubling in carbon dioxide values in the atmosphere. Presently we estimate this value is between 2°C and 4.5°C and I hope with the work in my PhD I’ll add to the understanding we have so far of this value.

In the end though, it’s great to contribute even a small amount, I published a scientific paper last year and because I did that, I actually had added to the volume of known science, I may not be a genius, but I have added to what humans have discovered and I just want it to continue, because it’s an amazing feeling.

Wow! this is a big question to answer! I guess I just want to be able to contribute something, no matter how big or small it is! I just want to feel as though I had a job that helped us understand a little bit more about the world in which we live.
